Question about reporting

    Hi,

    What day in the month do credit card companies report to the credit bureaus the balances, specially Capital one???

    I think it all varies. But for me, CapOne usually reports on the 15th of the month, which is my statement cutoff date.

    They can report ANY TIME THEY WANT...

    Many report what is owed on the STATEMENT DATE...

    They like to report the day before you make a 5,000.00 payment. lol.

    They push the CRA up-date button 10 seconds before they credit the account for the $5,000 payment!!!
