CA threaten legal action in the form pursing a matter in court...for a balance for repo car we purchased the veh in oct 1998 what are the sol in nc reference written contract.....does ca have a leg stand to on.....that offered a settlement of 70% i dont think so they also wanted my check acct info i dont think rep got mad when i said if she wanted to communincate w/me it would have to be in writing
Written contract SOL is 3 years in NC. When the vehicle is repo'd the contract ENDS. They then have 2 years to attempt to collect on the deficiency balance, AFTER showing proper documentation that the repo and sale of the vehicle were done in accordance with state laws. Did you receive any paperwork on the sale of the vehicle?
cant really say for sure.......we have a balance of 8k i am not going to give any them that much money for a vehicle i dont have......
