Hi! I have a question about my transunion report. At the bottom of the report there is a section called special messages. Under this it says: Imput current address has been used (005) times in last 30 days on different inquiries. AND Imput ssn has been used (005) times in the last 30 days on different inquiries. What are they talking about??? Is this why they blocked me from receiving my credit report online?? Are they putting this on because I have started disputing for the first time since FEB??? I'm happy with the results of my last few disputes. My score is 725 and it was 622 last time I checked. Anyway, thanks in advance if anyone knows what they mean about section. Thanks!
I had 5 inquiries in the last 30 days too. Although I didn't apply for credit anywhere, I have been disputing things with TU. Also a CA pulled my report twice just a few days apart. Lastly I requested my TU report online (altho I seem to be permanently blocked from that but oh well.) So I guess those requests were probably fairly innocent - expecially since you did mention some disputes going well. If you had no requests and no disputes and no hard or soft inquiries then I'd sweetly ask our friends at TU what the heck is goin on. Tom
Hi! No..I have not been applying for credit or anything. I'm currently trying to clean up my reports so that I can obtain a mortgage so I'm not applying for new credit. However, I did allow that worthknowing.com to pull my reports once Trans Union blocked me. I just wanted to see the status of the disputes. So...transunion can put this on my credit report because I wanted to see my credit report??? I mean it is MY credit report afterall. I could see if I were applying for new credit but I have not. Anyway, thanks for the response. I guess I will have to give them a call. Thanks again!
Are ther 5 inquiries in the last 30 days on the report? If so (or if not) I would call TransUnion immediately to find out what this is all about since you have an impending mortgage and you have not been applying for anything. -Peace, Dave
My friend has this too. No actual inquires in the last 30 days, just correspondence with TU, worthknowing reports and snail-mail reports, since he is blocked from accessing his own report. (???) Special Messages: Input current address has been used 12 times in the last 30 days on different inquiries. Input SSN has been used 7 times in the last 30 days on different inquiries. File previous address reported misused and requires further investigation (wth?-- just tried to remove an incorrect address) and file address, ssn, or tel number! reported by more than one source. (what does THAT mean?) This guy has no derogs but has just been trying to clean up pers info, balances etc. Does this seem a little retaliatory on TU's part? Isn't Worthknowing a TU partner? Is it better not to use it if it results in these kinds of messages? Is this a way for them to discourage frequent checking of your own report? (Vs Ex and Eq who allow unlimited access for a fee?) Does anyone know about this? I don't check my own TU very often, since unlike Ex and Eq it stays in a pretty steady 10 point range.
