Okay..I have successfully had a 90 day late deletion from EQ and EX. I have not heard from Trans Union yet. HOWEVER, I have noticed that on their report they say (no lates in the last 48 months or something like that). It does not mention the 90 day late from 1997. Then I read from BAYHOUSE that: Mike, I see what you're saying. Actually, the CRAs are NOT standardized either. Did you know that TU keeps payment history for only 48 months? Did you read my Planetfeedback.com letter to TU: When was that late? Experian has these weird dates that don't make any sense. Equifax allows collection agencies to report as OPEN delinquent tradelines, KILLING scores with minor 5 year old collections. Don posted that the same credit report can get 2 different scores because there's something called the "Beacon 96" and the "Beacon." Rarely do I have a day go by when I don't see something that makes absolutely no sense. But the FTC couldn't care less. However, I believe they are still using it to calculate my score. CreditXPERT (the one from ELOAN) is still reporting the late from back then BUT they are saying it happened within the last 2 years. This is incorrect and I contacted them but they did not respond. Anyway, I was wondering if they do indeed only report negs within 48 months. If so, why are they telling CREDITXPERT my late occured within the last two years? Thanks in advance....
