    Hi guys,
Tomorrow I'm going to view and fill out the application for my first apartment! My scores are below and I net about $2100.00 / month. The rent at the apartment is $570.00 / month. Am I in an OK place to be accepted on the application? Thanks for all your help!!

When I rented an apartment back in 1997 all they seemed to care about was that I had no utility collections (open) on my credit. Fortunately I had no utility collections at all. I also had a minimum income requirement. By the way, there is no way my scores were that good. :) Maybe it depends on the Apartment complex and their approval criteria. Good luck and best wishes!!

I'm betting that you won't have any trouble.
I think the guidelines for most apartments (but not all, depending on local fair housing laws) are that the rent be no more than 33%-50% of your takehome.
You will be at 27% if you get approved at this place.
Also, with a score in the 700s, it is highly unlikely to get turned down for something like an apartment.

    Schweb,

I just got approved for my apartment and I have an Equifax score of 601. You have nothing to worry about.

    Thanks guys,
I'm going to fill out the application and hopefully put down my security deposit this morning so I'll let you know how it goes!

Yes, daughter got hers last year with 614 and only 2 years of credit history (she was 20). You'll be fine!
