Hi javan..i justed started using PFB today and I lost my mind with it. I disputed every single inquiry that I could (the ones that I could find on PFB anyway). After glowing for a while, it hit me that maybe I shouldn't have done so many at once. I'm not sure if it makes a difference like it does when disputing with the CRA's, but anyway it's done now. The one that really concerns me is OGE utility. I PFB'd explaining that I didn't have an outstanding bill with them (they're showing collection account as of 12/97 although I moved from the state in 1996). I told them I paid in full prior to relocating....silly me, my reports don't even annotate that I EVER even lived in the state. Did I ruin my chances by "telling" on myself. I came right out and admitted that I used to live there. I should have just said, I never lived in that state. What do you think?
I guess only time will tell. Just sit back and see what responses you get. I typically only use PFB to send goodwill statements and have had alot of success. I was successfull with 7 out of 8 of my wifes accounts getting 30 day lates removed(still waiting for a response for the 8th one). I also use PFB to obtain contact info as well ie: CEO or presidents name and a fax number to the Exec offices(as opposed to the payment center). good luck
