I applied for Target, Kmart, Lane Bryant and Speigel on Saturday. I was approved for 2 instantly and the other two said we will contact you by mail. I happened to see my online Experian today. I noticed that only two of the 4 cards I applied for on Saturday were showing as inquires. (they reported both under the hard and soft sections.) Questions: does the soft mean I got approved? Could the denial be due to too many successive hits on the same report in a short period of time?
I'm not sure about Spiegel, but Target may have pulled Equifax on you. Sometimes Target pulls Equifax. At least they did for me. Donna
