Hello.... I just rec'd my dad's CR which states "File Block for Prom Purposes.... There are about 12 inquires on EQ which show PRM.. and also there's about 3 AR inquires from Capital One which he does not have an open account and never applied.. My dad has perfect credit and recently he rec'd a letter from Household Bank stating that they were going to closed his account based on the info on EQ report......His has never been late and his CL $10,000 and he owes $4200. On his CR shows every two month Household do an inq. why? If you are paying as agreed, does Household has the right to close your account ? Could it be related to so many inquires?? or why is Eq allowing promo and AR inq when the file has been blocked?? Any suggestion how to proceed with this???
AR'S AND PRM'S CAN NOT BE SEEN BY ANY OTHER BANK...(ALSO they can not hurt your score) I would put it in writing..."PLEASE DOCUMENT THE REASONS YOU WANT TO CLOSE MY ACCOUNT...I PULLED MY OWN REPORT AND SEE NOTHING BAD" HOUSEHOLD pulls AR every 2 months...that's no biggie!!! I HAVE CARDS THAT "PULL" AR'S EVERY 2-3 WEEKS!!! SOMETIMES 4 TIMES IN ONE MONTH!!! SEND A COPY SO THEY CAN "DRAW YOU A PICTURE"...SEND ONLY THE ACCOUNT SECTION...DON'T COPY THE INQUIRY SECTION...
