I found this board while researching the Soldiers and Sailors Civil Relief Act. Does anybody have laymen knowledge about this act? I printed out the whole legal document, but it is pretty difficult in spots. My ex-husband and his new wife are trying to use the SSCRA to keep from paying increased child support. They are also using this to jerk around their attorney and me. I know this act protects military against civil judgments when they aren't around, evictions, extra fees, can get lower interest rates to help out their credit, etc. I cannot find where it effects child support or other family issues. Any help is appreciated. Thanks. Pookie
