Disputed some things with Experian - sent the letter the end of November. Says on website that the results are due 1/01/02. Now does that mean that if no updates are done within the next 48 hours (adding extra day for holiday) that those disputed items will be deleted??? And will that mean the whole entire tradeline or just the negatives? Thanks for any insights, Ozzy.
If no updates are done by 01/02/02, then they will be deleted.(should be deleted) As far as complete deletion, it depends on how you disputed it. If disputed as not mine, it should be completely deleted. If you disputed as never late, then it's a 50-50 chance of just updating it to never late, or comlete deletion.
Thanks, LKH, for taking the time to respond. I didn't dispute the items as 'not mine', cuz they were, but they were worse than they should have been, so I guess either way (having the line deleted or just the negatives), I'll be happy. Yippy Skippy! Ozzy.
