I live in Indiana and have been divorced for 2 years. During our 2 year 'seperation' period apparently my ex spouse (unfaithful wife) entered a hospital and obtained medical treatment for (whatever..I don't know) I was working at the time and ultimately my checks were court ordered 'garnished'. Recently after undergoing my own surgery, I am unemployed and receiving a 'total disability' check through my employers insurance. Now I must return back to court next month regarding this 'garnishment'. It totals around $2000. Can the court garnish my longterm disability checks while I'm on long term disability? Thanx all!
