I know...gets worse...gotta put up with whiney deadbeats questioning why they got declined with their 502 score....I don't know....cause you STINK?!
Umm Phinneous, get back to the rainbow. I won't get into a pissing match with you about my understandings of what FCRA means...you are too much though LOL. I could just kiss you, puddin! How did I make it seem the FCRA was an agency? If you were following allowing (if you need the bouncing ball, just ask) you would know that what I meant is that the FCRA leaves gaping holes in its protection of the consumer by allowing the CRA's to abide by the "regulations" and yet report FALSE information everyday for millions and millions of people. In spite of the consumers feeble attempts to correct them via validations and disputes. In competition with McDonalds for the burger soon or Carl Sagan. I am sure you will find some more trivial matters to pick on me, so I will let you do so now. Please don't make fun of my mom or my dog though. -Peace, Dave
Not to mention: his tact-ful pill his respect-ful pill his "get off your high horse" pill his "open mouth remove foot" pill his "so phinneous I forgot to laugh" pill ...If I forgot to prescribe any, please let me know?
Just let the guy have his little bit of "15 minutes of fame, whoops,i mean flame on Creditnet and he'll soon vanish and move on just like the others have over the year.
Believe me, phinneous, some of us can quote you long passages of the FCRA. And the FDCPA. and the FCBA. And some of us can even quote you state stautes. Many of us are professionals in various fields of finance, law, insurance, psychology, education. Some have MBA's, Ph.D.'s, M. Ed.'s, J.D.'s. We have CFO's, CEO's... you name it. Just in case you think we are all uneducated numbskulls.
I can state statutes seven times FAST...wanna see? statutes statutes statutes statutes statutes statutes statutes see. Wanna see me state facts?
Wow -- "learn ya." You're proven to be so high-handed, patronizing, and arrogant that I hardly believe anyone wants to learn anything from you at this point. Good luck regardless. Doc
"That is a serious accusation of which you are most likely wrong. It does sound like their investigation is complete or they have received additional information pertaining to the original investigation. The bureaus are regulated under the FCRA and I don't think they would violate a federal regulation over a simple inquiry. Get real..." (sorry can not figuare out how to highlight this) I just had to comment on this one. You can not be serious about your statement? Since I have began fixing all the inaccuracies on ,my reports I have found a multituted of FCRA violations from all 3 CRA. Much of which is falsiying investigations of errors with reporting companies. 1) impaticular situation: I disputed over the phone an incorrectlty reported item on a Fri. On the following Mon (3 days later) I recieved the investiagtion results in the mail. 1/2 correct. Point in fact it takes at least 2 - 3 days for the mail to get form Equifax to me from where they are. So how in less then 72 hours did they investigage anything? My list of violations is way to long. Why would they take a chance on doing this over a minor dispute. Because they hire people with the IQ of a slug. That don't really care if they screw up your life or not. I am beggining to think that they actually have a wheel (like wheel of fortune). They put your name on it & your item. What ever comes up is how your report gets fixed. Becky
Phinneous - No offense intended, but you really seem a little misinformed about CRA's. The CRA's violate provisions of the FCRA every day. Myself, and several others here have basically caught them redhanded for issues such as insisting they verified incorrect information with the reporting company; when the company insists they have never been contacted. One person here was told by the CRA a verification was accomplished by telephone and provided a telephone number that was not even for the company involved. There have also been instances in which the company only verifies in writing and the CRA insists they completed it by phone or electronically. I would gladly take "responsibility" for correcting the mistakes on my report - the problem is even when the consumer provides the CRA proof, they almost always refuse to accept the information from us.
