I just called Experian and told them to delete my old address, but when I checked my report online, the addresses say "This item is currently being investigated" I thought they told me they were going to delete them.
I suspect there's a procedure where everything is subject to approval. Sometimes that means waiting on an outside party, but for some things like addresses, employment info, etc. it's done internally. Do not be surprised if your old data reappears at some point, as some vendor might update using that old info.
