Hello! My husband and I have a Sears card. We are currently almost $1000 over limit. Most of this is because they were sending our bills everywhere but our house for YEARS. When they finally got their act together, we were SERIOUSLY in the hole. With their exorbitant interest, I feel like we'll never get this account paid. My question is, has anyone ever sucessfully negotiated with Sears to get some of these fees and such removed so I can get them paid off??? I paid them about $200 in the past month, after receiving a letter saying if I paid, we could comtinue with the account as if it were never late. Stupid me did not keep that letter after I paid them. I wonder what they meant by that. I really appreciate any advice from you all! Maureen
