    Good Evening Everyone,

I initiated an umbrella dispute with all three CRA's listing as "not mine". Four on Experian, six on Equifax and 7 to TransUnion. After I get the answer's back from the big 3, I will be sending a " mode of verification " letter.

    First question:
How do I word the "mode of verification" letter?

    Second question:
What should I do next after the CRA's respond to the MOV?

    Thank you to everyone,

    Jeremy

You just ask them to provide who they verified with. After that, you may be out of luck. When you dispute as "not mine" and they're verified, any further disputes may be considered frivolous.

That's why you should always do specific disputes, targeting fields that are incorrect. Then you can always dispute another field. Once you've said it's not yours and has been verified as being yours, any further disputes are likely to fail.
