Sorry, but search is down and I need some quick advice. I have a lawyer calling me in one hour who is acting as a CA for a bad check I wrote 2 years ago. He is calling to settle this debt, which shows up as a collection account on my credit report (TU). What should I ask for, exactly? No less than deletion or paid as agreed? Thanks.
