My mother filed for Chap 13 two years ago. I just started to work on her report. She has four negatives. 1 BK 13 1 Judgement 1 Sears Card 1 Collection I disputed all on EX and here are the results 1 Sears Card 1 Collection Can you believe the first time I dispute for her, the judgement and Bk both come off? They were in the same name same address. Anyway I am not going to cry about it. What I need to know now is that the Sears Card says, it was included in a BK. Now that cannot be true if there is no BK on her file. I have also learned something about EX, they keep everything. It may be deleted from your report, but not their system. They keep every change and deletion on "their" system. So how do I deal with the Sears account on her next round of disputes.
Well, I really don't know the answer to your question, but I did want to add that it is very hard to get Sears deleted. It seems they verify every time. They are on all 3 of my reports as well as my husband's. Good luck getting them removed!
Experian must keep everything, I keep disputing a late pay from 3 years ago. It's never verified - I don't believe I was late, anyway, I call up and they remove it, 6-12 months later, it's back on again and I go through the process again!
