I went to the courthouse today, to get a copy of my judgement. It's for $255, but I know I paid it (of course, it was the day of the courtdate though) so, I have the OC researching it, as I can't find my checks from 1997. If it shows up as paid, they'll have to send the form to the court, I'm assuming. Also, on the form, it says I owe $60 in fees. Ok, am I going to have to pay interest on that $60? I also assume, the judgement won't show paid until the $60 is paid, as opposed to when I paid the $255 in 1997. The clock doesn't start when the judgement is paid, right? Only when filed on a civil judgement, I hope! Ok, that's it! I feel better knowing what I'm dealing with now. P. S My ssn is nowhere on there, and experian specifically said they have to verify 2 things (name, address, ssn) I had the address deleted too. I'm sending the procedural request in the am, because I KNOW they didn't actually verify the 2nd time. How could they???
