I know I have read this befor but wanted to make sure that I was right. I recently disputed several items on my experian report and with good success I might add. But I disputed two items that are the exact same account but one was the original creditor and one was the CA and they were both verified. I did not think that you could have the exact same account on there twice? I do need an answer because on my transunion report I have one account listed three times. One is the original creditor, one is a CA, and the other is a differnet CA.

Thanks in advance for the help!!

Standard practice is original creditor and one CA. I don't know that it's in the law anywhere, maybe in an opinion letter?

Where two CA's are listed, only the one that now has the account is supposed to be allowed.
