Alrighty peoples, my sister is filing bankruptcy but her attorney needs her to find an OC address and contact. Of course on the credit report on the CA is shown with the account number. She's been trying to call the CA to get the name and address of who they were hired by, to no avail, of course. I told her that they probably won't give her the info over the phone, CA's only want to talk to you if its about $$ Anyway, does anyone know of a way to find this information out ASAP? Her wages just started being garnished and she needs to get this bankruptcy filed ASAP. IF she had this info it would have been filed a couple of months ago.
She does not have to find the OC. She can have it mailed to the last known address. It will be returned to her atty. She can then use that as evidence in the future. I had 4 returned and never had problems using the returned mail as the evidence that a "good faith attempt" was made to notify them.
