    If a CA sends a collection notice on a company that has gone BK (M. Wards) and the SOL on the account has past 6/97 in a 4 yr state...do I need to send validation or go straight for C&D?

    Validation, if you want to get it off a credit report. C&D if it isn't on your report.

    Breeze,
    The CA is NOT on the report only the OC...so you are saying send the CA a C&D, right?

    Send C&D to CA, correct.

    Have you tried disputing the OC acccount with the CRA's?

    Mindcrime,
    Not yet, I am awaiting the confirmation that my previous addresses have been successfully removed before I start any CRA diputes
