I'm thinking about upgrading to a 2003 version (from 2000). Has anyone used the credit management feature of either program?

Quicken credit manager is pretty basic - enter balances, minimum payments, rates and it calculates how much to pay to whom to achieve the best savings.

You can do the same/similar with CreditExpert or ... if you're savvy - Excel.

I wouldn't upgrade just for that ... the online services in Q2003 are pretty cool- one click updates all of your "online" accounts. The overall look & feel is pretty good compared with 2000, and the reconcile feature for online bank accounts seems to do a better job "matching" register entries to online statements.

I wasn't going to upgrade just for that...I saw all the new stuff about the investment accounts and figured I need to do something besides having a 401k.

I was hoping that maybe they had something similar to an old program called Debt Analyzer which takes your balances etc but then automatically calculates new payments for you using that rolldown payment theory. It would be nice to integrate that payment plan into a budget.
