should i firsst send validation to the origianal creditor and than dispute can they verify after i send validation and they never sent it to collection or attempted to collect
Send the verification to the creditor first CRRR - wait the 30 days, if you don't hear back, send a copy of the green card along with a letter requesting the item to be removed to the CRA. They will dispute it, but will be a little tougher than had you simply disputed with the CRA. Then send the second letter to the creditor, demanding the item removed per law that they cannot verify the collection. Hope this helps... GT
