I have looked & looked for a letter to send to CA to see about chance of offering settlement - or see what their reply is - for account on it's way to a judgement if we can't get something done before court in a short time. Wondering if there was letter that would leagally stand up if we were to agree on lower payoff & them not have a chance to try to get the difference later on. Have not sent anything yet or had any communication with them. Would like to get this cleared out before it came down to going to court if possible. Have seen lots of letters, but nothing that fits this. Thanks in advance
