You would think that a charged-off revolving account would be closed, by definition. While doing an online dispute through EQ, though, I noticed that one of the possible reasons for disputing a certain cc charge-off was "Account Closed," or something to that effect. So I selected it. Roughly a week later, the results of the dispute arrived, updated with an "Account closed by credit grantor" notation under that particular entry.

My question is this: did I do something horribly stupid (other than allowing the account to get that way in the first place)? Is the "Account closed..." notation--in this context--good, bad or simply cosmetic? I didn't feel like forking over $25.90 for before-and-after snapshots from Score Power, so I was hoping someone might be able to shed a little light on the specific impact of such a notation on scores.
