% rates for Convenience Checks

    Does anyone know of a card or LOC with less than a 3% fee for use of convenience checks?

    Preferably not just a promotional rate, but any info would be appreciated.

    If you deal from strength, you can get just about any of them to waive the fee. What I do is wait for the BT offer and make sure there is no fee, a lot of them charge a fee for a cash advance, but not for a BT, i.e., just got a Discover 9.9% APR BT offer, no fee.

    I GOT DISCOVERCARD 5.90% NO FEE...but new customers have got 0.00%, no fee...

    It is a trap, some will fall for it, some will not, but obviously it works.
