This is regarding a re-aging question. Sister went BK7 in Oct 2002. Here is the question:

She had a Ford Credit Account showing a chargeoff -repo as of 11-1997. So it would continue on record until 11-2004.

Now Ford Credit has re-aged the account to show repo as of 10-2002 with BK7 Discharge 10-2002.
It now says will continue on record until 10-2009.

Is this wrong per FDCRA? She had many old charge-off's on her bureau that did not change the continue on record date date due to her BK7.

    Thanks

If I was your sister I would be sending Ford Motor Credit an Intention to Sue Letter demanding $1000 Statutory Damages for re-aging the account in violation of FCRA. I would give them a 3 week time frame to pay and on the 22nd day I would us ethe ancinent and honorable western form of self-defense: "I Sue"
