I have a CA account from Arrow Financial that is showing on both EX and TU. I have a question on the status details on this tradeline. It shows: Status: Collection account. $541 past due as of 6-2003. Account History: Collection as of 6-2003, 6-1998. So, does this actually constitute re-aging? Violations? If so, who violated, CRA or CA? Why the two dates of 6-2003 and 6-1998 for the account history? OC is mentioned as AFS Assignee of GE as per EX. I have already sent a validation letter to Arrow last September and will be sending my 2nd validation letter tomorrow. Am also waiting on the results of my dispute with EX and TU on this account. Will see if Arrow verifies without validating with me. Any help and answers to the questions will be appreciated.
I have already sent a validation letter to Arrow last September and will be sending my 2nd validation letter tomorrow. gagosila **************** Has it been 30 days since you sent the Sept. one? THE END ** *** ** LB 59 """"```--~~~~~~~~~--```'""'''
I actually decided on not sending the 2nd validation out yet...but to answer your question, yes it has been more than 30 days since they received my first validation request...and of course, no answer from Arrow Financial...they received the letter Sept 8 and it is now Oct 14 so its a safe bet that it has been more than 30 days... Decided to wait until my CRA dispute comes back and see if CA verifies without validating with me...then I definitely know it's a violation..then I probably would send my 2nd validation request.. But to ask my question again, why do I have two dates showing (EX only) on that collection account? I still consider myself a newbie here and really am swamped with a lot of information and would really like to resolve this. EX and TU is showing this (Arrow Financial) as the only derog on my file. EQ is another story...will deal with differently
Just to make everything clear on this account, I am posting here the complete tradeline for this collection account Arrow Financial Date opened/ Date of status/ type/Terms/ responsibility 5996, etc reported since Last reported Monthly payment -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1-2003/ 6-1998/ Installment/NA/ Individual 6-1998 6-2003 $0 Credit limit or original amt/ recent balance/ status details High balance recent payment -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- $298/NA $541 as of 6-2003/ Status: Collection account. $541 past due as of 6-2003 Account history: Collection as of 6-2003, 6-1998 So, this really confuses the heck out of me. Questions here: 1. date opened and reported since - why is date opened more recent than date reported since? Shouldn't it be the other way around? How can you open an account 2003 when it was already being reported 1998?? 2. Original amount different with that of recent balance - did the CA add interest? Is this legal? 3. My original question, why two dates on account history (when it became collectible I assume)? 6-2003 and 6-1998. Re-aging?? Any replies would be appreciated...thank you...
Sorry about the last two replies here...but here is another attempt at it...
