After reading all your previous posts... I have decided to email Sprint and ask them to report to all CRAs... if not, then I'll switch to AT&T. I have been 1 of their customers for about 6 months... 180 min for $30...(not kidding) now new subscribers get 500 min for $30 (feel insulted), and I cannot take advantage of that offer cause I am not new anymore... Unreal !!

I propose all Sprint customers on this board e-mail Sprint. Maybe they'll give in to our demands.

I don't wnat Sprint to report. Sometimes it's nice to have a bill I can pay late if I need to.

As for the 500 minutes for $30, call and ask if you can change to that plan. I've always been able to change to better plans.

    Larry,
Count me in! I will e-mail them and ask for that request. You can ask for other plans with Sprint. I started with Sprint in January paying $50 for 500 minutes. I just recently switched the plan to $50 for 1,000 minutes (it's a 1 year plan)

Who is your provider? Can those 600 minutes be used for long distance as well as local? Does it include caller ID, voicemail, call waiting & 3 way calling? Curious minds want to know. :)

Larry, you need to call back and speak to a different representative. You should be able to switch to the advertised price. You may need to agree to a 1 year term, however. If the rep can't help you, ask for a supervisor. I switched to the 1,000 free & clear plan for $49.95. I did have to agree to a 1 year deal. I have had the service for 2 years and have been pleased with them so that was not an issue. Give it a try!

Do you guys know that since May 2000 if you switch plan with Sprint you will lose the 1st incoming minute?
and all the calls are rounded up to the nearest minutes?
and, compare to the other provider, like AT&T or Verizon Or Pacbell, Sprint coverage is really bad (at least in the Bay Area)

Yes Sprint coverage in the Bay Area is HORRIBLE! Personally, I have MCI Worldcom wich is a reseller of Cell One and Verizon. So technically, I have Verizon but I do not call Verizon for customer service. I call MCI Worldcom.

Serious ! lol don;t tell them to report i like a bill that i can pay back late just like shyguy says . specially if you don;t want to pay the whole thing and Cell phone companies are real lenient with that . it's better this way. specially sprint i carry a balance with them just like a credit card and they still keep your account active . Didn't hear about the 30 for 500 mins offer ! I've got 1000 for 50 , 500 which are nights and weekends . and i one year contract which sucks which i;d known about that 30 for 500 . good luck .

Sprint is the provider. Long distance is not covered, but have caller ID, voice mail, sprint e-mail and other perks. But before you sign up with sprint take this from experience....DON'T. Bad reception everywhere! I can't even get reception within my own home, let alone any other structure with 4 walls. Reception seems to be good on long desert roads to Las Vegas...:)

I live in the New York City area and coverage here is GREAT! I have used the phone up and down the east coast with no problems.
