Recently someone posted something regarding a certification if the CRA re-insert a previously deleted item on credit report.

This has happened to me, and wanted to know if you could explain this in greater detail.

If they don't provide a certification, do they automatically have to delete it from your credit report.

    Thanks

Yes... If they did not notify you within 5 days. Send the cra a copy of your report and updated cover letter with the tradeline being deleted. FAX IT!

Oh my, all it took was a phone call.

Called TU and told the exact date the originally deletion occured, babbled a few words about "certification - not certified etc.", they viewed my current report and saw the same item there. The rep deleted the item as I was on hold.

    This is a good day:)
