    How bad is a 605 TU? Anybody know what you need for a prime credit card or mortgage or car loan???Thanks.

    Greenman,

    I think you need at least 680 or better for prime rates. A 620 might get you an FHA loan, but it won't be an automatic approval...manual processing, the old way. A 605 puts you in the vicinity of the 16th percentile...which means that aprx. 84 percent of the credit population has a score better than yours. Don't feel bad; I'm in the same boat.
