EQ stated that they validated an item which I disputed but I have not yet received proof from EQ other than an update Credit Report stating the validation. How do I have them prove that they actually received accurate information to validate my dispute. I need to fight this as the item is not valid. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks, Gavenraj
Well, CRAs don't validate. They verify. So Eq verified the info. They probably just called the creditor and verified. (although, sometimes they say they verify without really doing it.) You can request the procedures used to verify the account. I don't know if this will help, but it could get you the namme and address of the creditor. Then you can send validation to the creditor.
Can you provide an example of a validation letter I could send the creditor. Thanks in advance, Gavenraj
