Hi all, it's been many months since I have posted but needed to rant somewhere. After several months of taking the experts advice(doc, geo) I managed to get mine and my wife's scores up in the 600s.....we just moved to Va from NY about seven months ago and all of a suddens several old, deleted debts are showing up again and now our scores are back in the low 500's... Providian is saying I owe them $5800 that was taken care of and all though I have disputed it again, equifax just ignores my letters. We have worked hard in the last two years to regain our creditworthiness and have several open, low balance, positive credit showing but these old debts are holding us down. Any new advice?
These items were reinserted after they had been disputed? Did you receive a notification from the CRA's within 5 business days?
