I've been reading posts for a month and feel like I'm ready to start a-disputin' and a-validatin'. I'm starting with the easy stuff because I'm afraid of making a mistake from which I'll never recover: 8 [unathorized by me] inquiries on each credit report, three late accounts that weren't late, and a mortgage that TransUnion is reporting as discharged in BK. People have posted real addresses for the big three CRAs but I can't find them. Don't I need street addresses for certified mail? If someone can point me to the post (I know I've seen it here somewhere) I'll volunteer to bump it up to the top of the list periodically so you won't have to listen to the same question over and over.
