I applied in 10/2000 and obviously was denied. As of today I have 0 negatives on any reports. My question though, again, is in regards to scores and citi. Despite having 0 derogs, my score is only at 662 on experian, which they pulled last time. My main reasons are lack of retail card, and length of time accts. have been open. I have several cards that are 2 years, 1 just about 3, and a few that are about 1. Should I go for the citi AA cards? I haven't applied for anything since March of last year. I've been waiting for the day that I had my reports clean, which happened yesterday, but am concerned I would again be denied by citi because of the scores. Any thoughts?

The reasons are just reasons. The score is what counts. If you score is up to snuff, those same reasons DON'T Matter. They just use them as an excuse. Give it a shot. 662 is plenty for AA

Ok. Thanks Sam. I'll give it a shot a report back later on.
