We kept one car through our Ch.7 (reaffirmed). Never any late payments. Now on our credit reports, it says "reaffirmation of debt," which is noted by the CRA as a negative.

Does anyone have any suggestions for getting this notation removed? Thanks!

Iasked this question on this board and the "
Free Advice" board (a "sister site"). On FA board received 0 responses. Let me know if you receive an answer to this question elsewhere because I'm going through this same reporting on my EQF report on a reaffirmed mortgage. . Also have a recent TU which is just obviously wrong, because it still reads "C7 bk"". Still waiting for my EXP to arrive.

My EQF says "Reaffirmation of debt" but reports as a negative tradeline, as if I "redeemed" my mortgage (i.e., paid in full) instead of "Paying as agreed" which is how the report reads also, but it looks like the entire balance of my mortgage is "overdue". I can't even think of the proper phrasing for the "dispute".

Checked every "Reaffirmation" thread on this website, too, but remain clueless.
