Newbe question. We filed chapter 7 BK on June 2000. I had a voluntary repo of a reaffirmed dept after the BK. I did the bankruptcy myself pro se and reaffirmed the car loan. I was never represented by an attorney and the bk court never had a reaffirmation hearing. It is my understanding that the court must have a hearing with me to approve the reaffirmation agreement, to make me aware of what I'm getting myself into. Although it's does state this in the BK code I'm still not sure. Does anyone know if this would make the reaffirmation void? My CR is showing it as charge off with a balance of $9000.
