Anyone see a problem with sending a cease and desist and a dispute letter to the same company in the same envelope? I'm starting to spend a lot of money on certified mail.

This isn't a stupid question...lol..!!! I send all of my validation letters w/a Cease and desist letter ONLY in writing letter.

What's stupid is if you send the two together and don't word that they must Cease and Desist ALL contact OTHER than in writing. If you send a letter telling them to C & D..... then you went against the Validation letter that was in the envlope. (How can they contact you to validate)

Thanks. I stated in the C & D letter to cease communication by phone and to contact me only by mail.

Just to clarify, C&D letters go to the CA and dispute letters go to the CRA. What I think you meant is validation and C&D letter. You have no problem doing that in the same envelope.

Yes, I did mean validation, which is what I sent.
