I am going to be buying my first home hopefully in the next couple of months. I wanted to know opinions or going through a Real Estate Broker or doing it by myself. Not sure if because it is my first home I should have the help of a Broker or attempt to do it on my own.
    Any opinions are greatly appreciated!

Use a good Realtor. You don't pay for her services; she gets paid a commission from the seller within the closing.

A good Realtor should also be able to recommend a mortgage person who can help you with that aspect of it. If not, you know whose name to click on to inquire further.

OK. I was given the name of a realtor so I will contact her. I have heard so many different things from so many different people and I thought I understood that I would have to pay my realtor an additional percentage over the cost of the house. Guess not.
    Thanks so much.
Are you a licensed broker in Florida?
