Is there a way to get a TU FICO (not Fako) without taking a hard inq. hit?

Yes, on their web site you can buy it. It costs 12.95 or 14.95 not sure. Go through the process of getting your report from them at some point they ask if you want their score (price varies from free to 9.50?) or if you want to buy a real fico score (either 12.95 or 14.95 can't remember)

thats the only way I know without a hard inquiry.

I did that and I did get a hard inquiry, and my score dropped. It happened the day after the inquiry and no other changes happened for weeks before nor after so that had to be it.

getting your own report should never create a hard. I'd call them and complain about it.

I've done this from TU website and did not generate a hard inquiry. There was a soft though.
