Once a credit reporting agency removes a 30 or 60 day late, can the creditor put it back on?

Yup - CRAs only change/eliminate bad references if you dispute it with them. They then verify the issue with the creditor, and if the creditor claims that their entry/info is right the CRA puts it back on.

I meant that if the CRA takes the late off the report, can the creditor put it back months down the road?

is this truecredit or an official report. It has been my experience that truecredit has strange things appear. I also had an account closed by credit grantor removed then reappear on an official copy of my report to have it go away during the dispute.
