Hello There, I recd the upgraded BOFA Platinum Visa card today in the mail... they change the style of the card it looks very different then their previous one... is very cool looking though the gold card still looks good but I will put it away and start using the new Platinum card. Thx, Kev
I'm kind of hesitant. My BofA Gold is at $5000 and I could call to upgrade it but why should I? Any big difference in the benefits? Is the CS more willing to give better term with Platinum? Thanks
Hello Daminr, You can call the credit dept phone no at 800-242-5722 and press the option for a credit line increase... the nice rep told me that in order to get a platinum card the credit line has to be at least $5000 so it looks like you got that... and if you had the card for at least six months you might be able to get a credit line increase as well.. good luck... let me know what happens... Thanks, I just got an increase. My question is why is it better to have Platinum? Is it only color or there is more benefits that comes with it?
