I was granted a discharge in my Ch. 7 case on October 15, and I am already planning to work on cleaning up my credit history and making sure my future credit is spotless. I have been on this board before and bookmarked a link that gave a detailed list of what to do next. Since I reformatted my hard drive, I lost that bookmark. Can someone direct me again to that link? Also, any tips or other links would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I don't have a link for ya (although I'm sure there's a ton you could find with a BK 7 search) but from what I've read the general advice seems to be to apply for a secured card or two, then in a year apply for a sub prime unsecured card, use it and pay it off, and go from there. Good luck! Best wishes for a bright future...

My first step would be to get all three CR's and try to get as much old personal information cleaned from it as possible, especially addresses. After that, begin with the TL's. Your discharge may not even be showing on your CR's yet, so you might want to wait on the credit card apps.
