Got a letter from TransUnion today in response to my letter I sent to them regarding inquiry disputes. I stated to them that the people who pulled these inquiries had no permissible purpose to do so. I also stated in my letter that I had contacted the furnisher's and they "Furnishers" stated to dispute it with the credit bureau. The letter from TransUnion pretty much stated...I'm shit out of luck with disputing inquiries with them. They stated it will stay on for 2 years, yada, yada, yada! And that I should contact the people who made the inquiries. Duh!! didn't they read my letter, I already stated I did that. Doesn't the CRA's have to investigate any dispute on your credit report that you bring to their attention?? Can they just dis-regard investigating inquiries like this. Should I send an intent to sue letter if they do not investigate?? What do you think?? Thanks! Tac

I got the same letter for the second time on mine and hubby's requests for inquiry investigation. I'm at my wits end with them. The creditors said "contact TU and have them send the investigation form" TU says "contact the creditor and have them send an authorization". What to do?
