CREDIT CARD/LOAN COMPANY has records of address changes... PHONE CALL~~~"Please tell me when I put in the change of address to 3874 BEACH BLVD LA HABRA, CALIFORNIA"..."OH, IT WAS XX/XX/XX"..."Can you put that in writing and send it to me"???
Didn't we talk about this case a few weeks ago? I recommened that you dispute the bases for the demands for money. That is, make the landlord prove that they spent money above and beyond your deposit on unpaid rent and damages. Did you do that? Again, a lease doesn't mean anything except that IF there is money to be paid, you are responsible. But I don't see where anyone has proven that there is money to be paid yet. What have you done in that regard?
How am I to ask the landlord to prove what they dont own anymore. All records have been destroyed, when the new managment bought the property. And what type off letter should they provide if they can't prove it and who am I to send it to.
