Recently opened Accounts.

    They are four Months old now, so when will the CR report them as old, 6 months a year?

    they will report them as old as they are..in other words right now they report as 4 months old, in 18 months they will report as 18 months old in 15 yrs they report as 15 yrs old (if still opened)

    Thanks Chisti. Right now the new ones is keeping my score down ,so how long does it take new account to be old enough that they want keep my score down?

    if we only knew...lol I've heard 1 yr, but I have 3 new accounts reporting and received tremendous score increases on all 3 CRA's. It might depend on what you "had" vs "have" now. I had only 3 cards reporting and they were closed/paying as agreed -0- balances, so I had 100% credit available. Today I have 64% available credit with them reporting and my score is up another 3 pts on Credit Expert.
