I am ready to begin my letter writing campaign,
First let me say that I feel empowered by finding this site. I am real exited about this and want to get started right. I have read the FAQ's along with a good number of posts here. My first question is-- Do you have to order reports through the mail to get listings that include the full account nuber. The report I just downloaded does not have full acct #'s as they all end with xxxx, I am wondering if this is suffecint to send letters to the OC's as well as the CRA's?

Any help in this regard would be greatly appreciated.
I wish to get the other two CRA reports online but not if I need the whole acct. # and they dont provide them online???

    Thanks,

TU was the only CRA that has sent me a report
that had the full account numbers and it was a mail order free credit report b/c I had been denied credit.
My online TU EQ and EX don't come with full account numbers. If you have been denied credit recently it makes sense that you get these kind of reports for free. You can also order your free CR's on line.
You don't need the full account numbers to send in disputes, just write them down the way you see them.
    Good Hunting!

If you dispute online you just point and click.

I'm also a newbie, and I had a similar question. How do I get the full account number without alerting a CA in order to send a validation letter? I have a charge that I don't know what it is, but I want to be prepared for the next step in case it comes back verified. I just have a partial account number, is this enough to include in my validation letter?

    Thanks!
