    By luck..............

I purchased a second hand Radio Shack phone (caller id, speaker, answering machine). I was reading the manual and it stated that it has the capability of recording two-way conversations over the phone ...yepppppppppie!

Noone has called my home as of yet (knock on wood) but, I was wanting to know some things I should listen for or ask of the OC or CA.....to make sure I get paid for that recorded conversation???????

I am in Texas so, I do believe it is okay to
    RRRRRRRecorddddddd...........yepppie.

As most people would say here. NEVER talk to a CA. YOu may think you can trip them up, i bet they would trip you up and they could hold something against you.

I know I know ...................but I just wanted to know anything just in case.

    Never hurts to be prepared.

Be careful! Depending on the state you live in, it may be illegal to record the conversation without their consent!

In Texas, my understanding is that as long as one party knows the call is being recorded then it'll pass. The person recording is one party.

    A Native Texan.
