I have a recurring credit card payment for $20 per month. It has been active for a couple years. I use the service (job search) but decided to cancel because I do not use it enough to justify the expense. When I checked the credit card statement, I found they have not billed me for at least six months. If I cancel, I am afraid they wil discover that and immediately take $120 from my credit card (which is not available at this time). What do I do? Is it likely they will discover their error when I cancel? Should I just wait to cancel until I pay down my balance in case they do hit me for $120? I'm not trying to cheat them, its just the money is not there at this time.
