I desperately needed a car in january, but I didn't have any credit history (because I turned 18 in july 2001), so i checked a couple of dealers and got turned down immediately, but then I got approved with a very high rate (19.99%), now I need to refinance. I have 2 credit cards, one store card, and the car loan. All paid as agreed. Does anybody know a company that would approve me with my very short history???
The only thing I can tell u to do is to do a search here for "car loans" or car financing. There has been a bunch of threads on this in the recent past.
I had the same problem and joined a local credit union. They saved me 8% off a 18% loan while the normal rates where 10% at that time.
